Functions, Purchase Info, and Examples

OmniDEM® was fully designed and based on defined user requirements for digital terrain modeling. This includes both function and performance. In 2013, we completed version 3.0, offering new and improved capabilities supporting, among others, surface modeling, and in 2014, OmniDEM was fully integrated as a module within IApioneer.

Likewise, in addition to offering an improved user experience, the software has been purposefully priced to ensure user affordability; and this is a key point in times of increasing budget constraints. We hope you’ll notice that the cost of OmniDEM is significantly less than comparable solutions.

Note: OmniDEM was developed under an SBIR. The term "SBIR Data Rights" is defined at subparagraph (a)(18) of the clause at DFARS 252-227.7018, and all FARs are applicable in this regard apply.

Functions

> Functional Overview

Using OmniDEM you can rapidly fuse existing DEMs to create a seamless elevation model. OmniDEM allows you to exploit overlapping images from both satellite and aerial sensors. With the OmniDEM active stereoscopic viewing you can see and edit elevation points overlaid on underlying imagery to ensure precise elevation extraction. With the OmniDEM advanced correlation capabilities you quickly update your elevation surface to generate high-resolution elevation models for increased simulation accuracy and realism.

Need to fuse multiple overlapping DEMs? Need higher resolution DEMs and have overlapping imagery? OmniDEM performs both.

Whether starting from scratch with overlapping satellite or aerial imagery, or augmenting existing DEMs, OmniDEM is the tool you’ll want for elevation extraction and exploitation.
